Dear runners,
We are happy to invite you to take part in the 29th edition of the international Ein-Gedi Race, in memory of Giora and Tomer Ron.
29 years of persistence and determination, almost the same as those required in long-distance running. This persistence and determination belongs to the Ron family, to the region's residents, to the members of Kibutz Ein-Gedi and to the employees of the council.
The power and energy sources are annually derived from the great love for Giora and Tomer, who considered running as a challenge and a spiritual completion for their beautiful souls. Each runner has his own reasons for participating in the race: some like the huge number of participants, others step up for the challenge of the effort and many run for mental and physical health. Yet, all of the above have one thing in common- enjoyment of the activity.
We hope that this year, we all will enjoy once again a high quality race, along with challenges and sportsmanship, together and individually.
With regards,
The organizing committee
