Ein-Gedi Race

The race for peace – the international Ein-Gedi race in memory of Giora and Tomer Ron, 20/2/2010.

Dear runners, the זare happy to invite you to take part in the international Ein-Gedi race in memory of Giora and Tomer Ron, taking place for the 27th year.

27 years of persistence and determination, almost the same as those which are required in long-distance running. This persistence and determination belongs to the Ron family, to the regions residents, to the members of Kibutz Ein-Gedi and to the employees of the council.

The power and energy sources are derived annually from the great love for Giora and Tomer, who considered running as a challenge and a spiritual completion for their beautiful souls. As for the participation in the race- each runner has their own reasons: some like the huge number of participants, others step up for the challenge of the effort and quite a few run for mental and physical health. Yet, all of the above have one thing in common- enjoying the activity.

We hope that this year, we all will enjoy a race of high quality, challenge and sportsmanship, together and individually.
